About Me

Hi, I am Jeremy Aponte. I always loved drawing my favorite characters from cartoons and making my own comic book. In high school I took every art class available and went to a program for Commercial Arts at Choffin Career and Technical Center for two years.

After that I moved to Pittsburgh to attend college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I received my Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. Here is where I really grew as my own as an artist.

I started my career at with some freelance on a children’s book called BeeBee’s Bedtime Stories. Which briefly turned into a television show. After, I worked at Sandoval Buick GMC, where made custom ads, flyers, emails, mailers, and videos. I was a new challenge because every month I had to quickly create specials and post them online before our competition could.

Then I started work at Duet where I started my career in UX/UI design. I jumped right in and absorb everything I could. I started by creating logos, buttons, and icons. Eventually I got to design an app called Prompt. It was a great challenge, from creating a design that would be applicable cross mobile and web.

Now I take on commissioned worked and illustrating on my free time. I am eager to get started in a new work place.
